What can I do at Konyaaltı Beach?
Konyaaltı Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Antalya and one of the most popular nightlife spots.
The extensive beach begins at the cliffs of Antalya's old town. The 13 km long beach consists primarily of fine pebbles and sand. The water is beautifully clear. Konyaaltı Beach has a "Blue Flag", which speaks for the good water quality of the beach.
Konyaaltı Beach is particularly popular with locals, but also with tourists from all over the world.
Right on the beach you will find a large selection of beach bars, cafés and restaurants. Umbrellas and loungers are available to hire for a fee thanks to the numerous beach clubs. You will also find free toilets, showers and changing rooms on site.
The most famous stretch of beach is Beach Park. There are particularly many bars, restaurants and occasionally live music.
On the beach promenade you will also find fitness equipment, children's playgrounds and a basketball court. If you feel like shopping, you can browse the boutiques.
The water sports activities offered directly on the beach offer you entertainment and adrenaline. These include beach ball, parasailing, surfing, jet skiing and much more. A popular activity is diving in shipwrecks.
The view, which you can enjoy while swimming or sunbathing, is also impressive. You see the sparkling sea with the Taurus Mountains and the steep cliffs in the background.
Konyaaltı Beach is not only busy during the day, it is also a popular focal point for Antalya's nightlife. In addition to the old town of Kaleici, the eastern end of the beach with its bars and beach clubs is the address for party people.
Attractions on and near the beach
In the beach area you will find a number of diverse attractions that contribute significantly to the entertainment. These include an amphitheater and the Aktur Park with the second largest Ferris wheel in Europe.

The beach borders Ataturk Park. Thanks to a number of picnic tables and restaurants, it is a good place for a break in the countryside.
The huge Antalya Aquarium is also very popular with young and old.
If you prefer more silence, you can find a spot at the west end of the beach. It's usually much quieter here.
We recommend a ride on the Tünektepe Teleferik cable car at the west end of the beach. It takes you up Tünektepe Hill where you will be rewarded with a view of the sea and the surrounding mountains.

How to get to Konyaaltı Beach?
Konyaalti Beach is located in Konyaaltı County in western Antalya. It is about 30 minutes away from the old town of Kaleici.
By public transport: The easiest way to get to the beach is to take the tram from the old town and get off at the Antalya Archaeological Museum terminus. From here you can either walk for about 10 minutes or change to the minibus (Dolmuş).
