The small paradise of Kaputaş is hidden below steep cliffs. A long and steep 187-step stairway takes you from a coastal road down into the bay. The natural Kaputaş Beach awaits you there.
The dream bay consists of a 150 meter long beach with fine, golden sand and a metre-high cliff. Small pebbles mark the transition from the sand to the sea, which shines in the most beautiful and strongest turquoise.
What can I do at Kaputaş Beach?
The picturesque Kaputaş Beach is unspoilt and therefore a beautiful destination for swimming and sunbathing. The turquoise blue paradise is popular with both locals and tourists from all over the world. For this reason, it can quickly become overcrowded, especially in high season.
Parasols and loungers are usually only available during the high season. On site you will find showers, toilets, changing rooms and a snack bar.
Due to the spring water that flows here, the water is cooler than in other beaches in Antalya. Another special feature is that it gets quite deep after 8 to 10 meters.
You can also visit the crystal clear bay on a boat trip. On the occasion you can discover the fascinating grottos in the area. One of the most famous is the Blue Grotto.
Before you go down the stairs to the beach, be sure to take a picture with Kaputaş Beach in the background! The picturesque scenery with the rock faces and the bright turquoise of the sea resembles a postcard motif. No wonder it is one of the most famous Instagram spots in Turkey.
Entry to the beach is free. Sun loungers and parasols are available for a fee. We recommend going early in the morning and securing a spot. In the high season it is quickly overcrowded.
