Alpine Beauty at the Peak of the Taurus Mountains
Rising at the intersection of the borders of Antalya, Gündoğmuş, Akseki, and Karaman, the Geyik Mountains (Geyik Dağları) are one of the most magnificent and highest massifs of the Taurus range. With peaks reaching 2875 meters, the Geyik Mountains are not just a range but a massive ecosystem hosting glacial lakes, deep valleys, and vast plateaus. Although they have a steep and rugged appearance due to their karstic structure, they amaze viewers with the hidden lakes tucked away in their summits.
Eğrigöl: The Evil Eye Bead of the Mountains
The greatest treasure of the Geyik Mountains is Eğrigöl, located at an altitude of approximately 2100 meters. Formed by melting snow, this lake offers an Alpine-style landscape with colorful flowers and grazing herds of horses. The Geyik Mountains, one of Turkey's most prestigious climbing spots for mountaineers, is also one of the regions where wildlife (wild goats, eagles) is most densely populated.
