The Crescent-Shaped Bay

Among everything that makes Kemer memorable, Ayışığı (Moonlight) Bay stands out. This crescent-shaped cove sits within the boundaries of Olympos Beydağları Coastal National Park; the surrounding pine, palm, and eucalyptus trees meet turquoise water at the shore. Ayışığı Park occupies the landward side of this bay, exactly where nature and the built environment meet gracefully.

The park's name reflects the bay's reputation for reflecting moonlight with particular beauty after dark — not an incidental detail. The place seems almost designed for that hour. During the day, the beach and park blend into one; at night, the park takes the whole scene.

A World Across 55,000 m²

Ayışığı Park covers 55,000 square meters within the Olympos Beydağları Coastal National Park and holds a Blue Flag beach designation. The sand gives way to some larger pebbles at the waterline. Water sports, cafes, and restaurants are among the main amenities on offer. At the far end of the bay, perched on a hill, is the Kemer Folklorik Yörük Park; visiting both sites together makes for a fuller experience of the area.

Note: Ayışığı Park is a privately operated facility; the beach has an entrance fee.
