Antalya’s Giant Urban Balcony

One of the closest natural wonders to Antalya city center, Güver Canyon (Güver Uçurumu) is located within the Düzlerçamı National Park on the border of Döşemealtı and Konyaaltı. This canyon, approximately 2 kilometers long and 115 meters deep, is a geological miracle formed by surface waters eroding the limestone layer over millions of years. Unlike other canyons, it is famous more for its panoramic views from above than for hiking through its base.

Views of the Gulf and the City

The observation terraces lined along the edge of Güver Canyon offer visitors a chance to view the Gulf of Antalya and the Taurus Mountains from a unique angle. Since it is located within a national park, the surroundings are covered with red pine, juniper, and holm oak forests. The area is also a protected habitat for fallow deer and wild goats. Escaping the city noise to find peace at the edge of this abyss within minutes is one of the greatest privileges of living in Antalya.
