There are dozens of caves in the Alanya area. One of the most beautiful is the Dim Cave. The small lake in the cave gives it a mystical atmosphere.

Add to that the fantastic view.

Here is all the important information you should know before visiting the cave. This includes tips, admission, how to get there and the history of the Dim Cave.

What can I do at the Dim Cave?

Dim Cave is located in the upper part of Dim Valley. The path to the cave leads you through almost untouched nature. Enjoy the wonderful landscape and breathe in the scent of the pine trees.

The Dim Cave is 410 meters long. You can visit 360 meters of it. The colorful lighting inside makes the stalactites and stalagmites appear in a charming atmosphere.

There are four chambers in Dim Cave, which are interestingly named Pamukkale Chamber, Organ Chamber, Chandelier Chamber and Sea Chamber.

Most impressive, however, is a small pond and a 200 m2 lake in the cave. The cave temperature is a constant 18 degrees all year round.

There are many restaurants around the Dim Cave. Don't forget to take a look at Alanya and the Taurus Mountains with binoculars from the viewing terrace. You can also take great photos here!

How do I get to the Dim Cave

Dim Cave is located about 145 kilometers from Antalya and 11 kilometers from Alanya, in the town of Kestel. You can go by car or by bus:

By car: A paved road leads to the Dim Cave through the valley of the Dim River.

Bus: There are regular buses to Dim Cave from Antalya or Alanya.
