Visiting Antalya's incredible ancient sites — Perge, Aspendos, Side, Myra, Termessos, and dozens more — can add up quickly. Fortunately, Türkiye's Ministry of Culture and Tourism offers two main pass systems: MüzeKart for Turkish citizens, and MuseumPass (Museumpass) for international visitors. This guide covers both in full detail.

If you are not a Turkish or Northern Cyprus citizen, the MuseumPass is the right choice for you. There are four regional and one national option — choose based on your travel itinerary:

• MuseumPass Mediterranean, 7 days, ~90-95 €
• MuseumPass Aegean, 7 days, ~90 €
• MuseumPass İstanbul, 5 days, ~105 €
• MuseumPass Türkiye, 15 days, ~165 €

Which pass is best for an Antalya trip?

If your primary destination is Antalya and the surrounding region (Alanya, Side, Demre, Kaş), the MuseumPass Mediterranean (7-day, ~€90–95) is your best value. It covers over 40 museums and archaeological sites across the provinces of Antalya, Mersin, Adana, and Denizli — including every major site listed below. If you plan to travel widely across Türkiye (Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus), consider the MuseumPass Türkiye instead.

Key Rules for MüzeKart

• Each museum or site can be visited once per year with the card.
• The card is personal and non-transferable — ID must be shown at entry.
• Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase.
• Can be renewed before expiry.
• Available as a physical card or a digital e-card via the MüzeKart app.

Where to buy Your Pass

• Online: Visit muze.gov.tr to purchase a digital e-card (instant delivery, no shipping required).
• At museum or site ticket counters: Available at all major museums and archaeological sites — including Antalya Museum, Aspendos, Perge, Side, Myra, and 15+ other locations in Antalya province.
• At mobile sales points: Ministry vans occasionally present at major tourist sites.
• Via the MüzeKart app: Download from the App Store or Google Play and purchase your digital card in-app (MüzeKart only).

• Activate your pass strategically: MuseumPass validity starts from your first entry, not from purchase — so buy it the day you plan to begin your museum visits.
• Carry your ID: Both MüzeKart and MuseumPass require ID verification at entry. Foreign visitors should carry their passport.
• Download the app: The MüzeKart app provides maps, opening hours, and your digital pass all in one place.
• Skip the queue: Pass holders typically enter through dedicated lanes at most sites — a significant advantage during peak season.
