Soura was an ancient city in the Lycia region of present-day Turkey. It was known as a center of worship of the god Apollo, as well as a center of trade and culture. The city was believed to have been founded in the 7th century BCE and was an important center of the Lycian League. The ruins of the city include a theater, tombs, and a temple of Apollo. The city is also known for its well-preserved inscriptions and sculptures. The city is now an archaeological site that can be visited today.
