With the Marine Biology Museum, established by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, it is aimed to ensure that sea creatures and especially endangered species are known closely, to adopt marine culture and to protect our natural heritage.

Although their number is limited in our country, the maritime museums, which have many examples in the world, exhibit dried specimens of sea creatures preserved in fixative solutions and skeletons of larger creatures such as marine mammals.

In the museum established on an area of ​​approximately 100 m2 in Kaleiçi (Oldtown), 9 species of sharks, 10 species of flat sharks, approximately 150 species of bony fish, sponges, corals, shrimp, lobster and crabs, crustaceans, octopus, squid and cuttlefish, all living in Turkish seas, starfish. and sea urchins.
