Where is Antalya Atatürk Cultural Centre?

The Antalya Atatürk Cultural Centre (AKM) is located inside Atatürk Kültür Parkı on Sakıp Sabancı Boulevard, in the Muratpaşa district. It has been in operation since 1996, making it the city's most long-established cultural venue. The centre shares the park with the Glass Pyramid Exhibition and Convention Centre, and sits in a central, easily accessible location — within walking distance of the city centre and well-connected by public transport.

Address: Meltem Mah. Sakıp Sabancı Blv. Atatürk Kültür Parkı No:7, Muratpaşa / Antalya

How to Get to Atatürk Cultural Centre?

The venue is well-served by city buses. The following Bus lines stop at the Atatürk Kültür Merkezi stop:
AC03, KC06, KL08, VC59, VS18
If you prefer the tram, take the T3 line to the Meltem2 stop — it's around a 6-minute walk from there. Parking is available near the venue for those arriving by car.

⚠️  Parking fills up quickly on major event nights. Public transport is the more reliable option for popular performances.

About Atatürk Cultural Centre

AKM spans a total of 9,000 m² and houses two performance halls and two foyer spaces.

The Aspendos Hall is the main stage, with a capacity of 797. Its standout feature is its acoustics: the hall is specifically engineered to allow unamplified performances, with a full acoustic design and an orchestra pit that make it one of Turkey's most technically capable venues for opera, ballet, and symphony concerts.

The Perge Hall seats 307 and offers a more intimate setting. It is regularly used for chamber music concerts, small-stage theatre, panel discussions, and conferences.

Events & Programme

AKM is the permanent home of the Antalya State Theatre, the Antalya State Opera and Ballet, and the Antalya State Symphony Orchestra. Their annual seasons keep the venue in near-constant use throughout the year. Beyond these resident companies, the centre also hosts national touring productions, musicals, children's theatre, jazz and classical music concerts, art exhibitions, and NGO events. The Antalya International Piano Festival is another highlight on the AKM calendar.
Tickets and the current programme are available at biletix.com, biletinial.com, or by calling +90 242 248 90 22.

⚠️  State Theatre and State Symphony Orchestra productions are also ticketed through the Ministry of Culture's official system. AKM occasionally organises free public events too — worth keeping an eye on their social media channels.
